GreenEarth® is a far more gentle cleaning process than the current dry cleaning solutions and will clean all types of fabrics and ornamentation without risk of damage.
Independent tests have been carried out on a number of speciality fabrics which were identified as more challenging for the dry cleaner. These included metallic yarns, applied glitter, rhinestones, coated and flocked fabrics, leather and fake fur. All performed significantly better in GreenEarth® with no noticeable deterioration. free of the characteristic “dry cleaned” odour, garments smell truly clean and fresh - a fact that is a clear, noticeable and demonstrable benefit to the consumer.
During our “test marketing” over the past two years, we have been delighted at the unsolicited feedback from consumers. We have not experienced any negative comments on the condition of garments after GreenEarth® processing. Colours are bright, no dye runs even with red/black/white combinations. Absolutely no delamination of interlinings and no shrinkage.
The handle of even the most delicate angora/cashmere garments is as soft as new.
We really believe that aftercare issues in the garment industry will be positively impacted by the introduction of GreenEarth® cleaning and
that fashion designers will welcome the creative freedom it brings. Anecdotal evidence already suggests that consumers’ confidence will be improved and that dry cleaning will not be perceived as such a grudge purchase. |
